Zenno's first hardware reached orbit on a SpaceX launch

Zenno Astronautics put its first hardware into space on a SpaceX rocket. The University of Auckland spin-off builds superconducting electromagnets that let satellites point, rotate and maneuver without carrying fuel.

We backed Zenno because fuel is the hard constraint on satellite lifetime and mission flexibility, and a fuel-free way to move and protect spacecraft addresses that directly across a fast-growing satellite market. Superconducting magnets are genuinely hard engineering, and the only argument that settles it is hardware in orbit rather than a paper. This was the first flight of that argument.
