Lore Machine opened its visual storytelling platform to the public

Reuters reported that Lore Machine had rolled out its visual storytelling platform and was in funding talks. More than 25,000 people were on the waitlist when it opened in March 2024, and the tool turns written text into illustrated stories, storyboards, comics and motion graphics.

We backed Lore Machine because storytelling is moving from text to visual formats faster than most creators can produce art by hand, and the tools lagged that demand. The product keeps writers at the top of the content chain and uses ethically sourced models that avoid the copyright exposure hanging over much of the field. The founder's clarity about who the customer is, the individual creator rather than the studio, is what convinced us the wedge was real.
